All of our professional caregivers are cleared by the Caregiver Background Check Bureau, have provided satisfactory references prior to employment and are fully insured.
Our caregivers are available during the day, night, weekends and holidays. We also have staff on-call, 24 hours a day, in case your caregiver falls ill or has an emergency.
Sterling founded San Diego Home Caregivers in 2009. With a small business background, he focused on being efficient and providing value for both his clients and his caregivers. San Diego Home Caregivers is now a leading provider of non-medical caregivers in San Diego County. As Managing Director, he oversees all aspects of the agency, working hard to deliver consistent and exceptional care. His care team has assisted hundreds of families as they maneuver through the aging and healing process. He is ready to serve you should you or your family need his services.
Bobette started her career as a private caregiver for clients whose needs ranged from meal preparation to bed baths and full transfers. Prior to San Diego Home Caregivers, she worked for 4 years as a Scheduling Coordinator for All Valley Home Care. As Director of Client Services with San Diego Home Caregivers, she makes sure we have open communication with our families, assisting them to find the right caregivers and support services they need to complete their care plans. She also is our long-term care insurance liaison, helping families with their reimbursements. She has been with us for over 6 years and has been a true example with her dedication to help others.
Although we all enjoy meeting caregiver candidates, Mireya has the senior role in finding and developing the best caregivers in San Diego for our clients. She maintains accurate records on all caregivers and makes sure that we are in compliance with the Home Care Services Bureau along with all federal and state laws. She also shares our passion for caregiving with her own personal experience caring for her Mother with dementia. Before San Diego Home Caregivers, she spent 14 years in Human Resources helping General Labor and Corporate Cafeterias staff and maintain their employees. She has been with us for almost 3 years, and delivers a much-appreciated layer of reliability and professionalism to our agency.
